My Ephex system (redlined, 12 GB 1600MHz RAM, 3 300MB Velociraptor drives in RAID 5, Quad SLI with EVGA GTX 295 cards and green lighting behind the dragon laser-etched into the glass) arrived last Friday.
The system came in perfect shape, packed well and was a snap to connect to the Iomega external drive, Samsung 305T monitor, Logitech G11 keyboard and G9 mouse that were waiting for it.
Then I came into the equation (in a not-good way) by accidentally hitting the reset button while handling the front of the system - it is a heavy beast.
This did not do good things for one drive in the array - the array tried valiantly to repair the drive, but Drive 0 died a premature death on Sunday.

Monday I called tech support and talked to Giovanni, and told him the unvarnished truth.
Today I had a replacement drive waiting at my doorstep when I came home from work.
IMPRESSIVE. I-M-P-R-E-S-S-I-V-E. Wow.

Btw, if you have the coin, get the Samsung 305T - GT-R Evolution is freaking awesome on it and Crysis is truly mind-bending. My only quibbles with the 305T is that it has only two resolutions (2560x1600 and 1280x800), has no screen controls except for brightness/contrast and has just a single DVI-D for connection. But given its' size and very good imaging and overall quality I can more than deal with the niggling limitations.
No niggling about Maingear staff though - for Raphael my sales rep and Gustavo the build technician and for Giovanni - a big thumbs up. I had some initial concerns with the cost of the system. But in the end, I didn't just get what I paid for - I got a lot more than that - confidence and satisfaction in Maingear.
This has been without a doubt the best customer service experience in my life - regardless of product. And I'm older than I care to admit here!

P.S. If you're looking for a good UPS, the recommended (by Raphael) Pro Source UPS is an excellent power protection device for your Maingear baby. I am quite pleased with the one I purchased.
